A cyberpunk multiverse story told as a comic, a concept EP, and an in-universe studio
Original comic + concept EP + physical bundle from Cyberwave Studios
Continuum is a physical-first, lore-driven project where the "producer" isn't just behind the scenes, but rather is central to the myth. The story follows a resistance timeline where Syndicate Studios, an authoritarian multiversal government, has already wiped out millions of creative projects, memories, and songs across the Multiverse (Cyberverse).
Continuum unfolds inside the Cyberverse: a network of parallel timelines loosely tuned to each other through resonance and sound.
The parallel world Continuum takes place in is dubbed Timeline 33C. The only thing that remains of Cyberwave Studios is a hidden, unofficial operation kept alive in secret by an elderly portal engineer and mystic known as The Threadseer.
From his concealed inner ops unit, the Threadseer treats songs, stories, and artifacts as Resonance Anchors; signals strong enough to bend probability and link timelines. One of those links reaches into our own present-day reality, Timeline 13A, where a still-functioning Cyberwave Studios exists outside Syndicate's direct control… for now.
Our protagonist, Rion Boris, is an ordinary citizen—slowly waking up to latent abilities but caught in the routines of a controlled society—until a catastrophic incident tears through his day and pulls him into the abandoned ruins of a former Cyberwave facility. But when he emerges, he is changed.
Issue #1 follows Rion's first, disorienting steps as Continuum: learning that he has been chosen as a living resonance anchor.
The Continuum EP is the sonic sequel and parallel transmission to Issue #1. Where the comic shows the Timeline 33C events in panels and pages, the EP lets you sit inside the emotional and cosmic fallout of those events in sound.
Themes from the issue reappear as lyrical images, harmonic motifs, and recurring textures—complete even with immersive narration. Each track is written, produced, mixed, and mastered to stand alone as a song. But in sequence, the EP behaves like a second arc to the cliffhanger story seen in the comic.
Charlie Hadley is a multi-genre producer, mixer, and storyteller who has spent over 15 years engineering records for artists across rock, metal, pop, hyperpop, and beyond. He's played music for over two decades, learning his craft through hands-on work with top-tier producers and engineers and earning Billboard Heatseekers and iTunes Top 10 placements along the way.
Under the banner of Cyberwave Studios, Charlie shifted from "just" producing songs to designing story-worlds. Every mix, every EP, and now every comic and every interactive web app exists inside a shared multiverse where sound is the underlying physics.
Continuum is the sharpest expression of that approach so far: a limited-run comic + concept EP + in-universe studio brand that asks what happens when you stop chasing the algorithm and build a myth instead.
Charlie handles the writing, world-building, music, production, and overall creative direction for Continuum, keeping the story, the sound, and the visuals aligned.
